Financial controlling for procurement operations at a global life science company, analyzing spend and managing cash. Several years of controlling experience in industrial/manufacturing, with AI/Data Analytics for trends and benchmarks, required. 30 vacation days, plus remote options.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Controlling or related field
- Several years of experience in Controlling or Finance within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cost controlling
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in financial reporting, KPI tracking and AI | Data Analytics usage for trends & benchmarks setting and anomaly reporting
- Understanding of procurement processes, supplier negotiations and make-or-buy analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Fluency in English and German with willingness to travel (up to 25%)
Tasks
- Track and report procurement KPIs
- Prepare and present financial reports
- Analyze spend and variance reports
- Manage cash effectively
- Collaborate with Category Management to enhance financial efficiency
- Turn KPI analysis into actionable items
- Deploy local tools and reporting as per Group Controlling requests
- Support the Procurement roadmap for financial valuation
- Validate savings accuracy and challenge assumptions
- Assist in Procurement acceleration 2.0
- Provide first-level support for product costing
- Facilitate supplier negotiations on financial scenarios
- Identify and document financial risks
