- Design and build backend services and REST APIs
- Maintain clean interfaces and robust domain models
- Ensure maintainable data access patterns
- Deliver cloud-native microservices using Docker and Kubernetes

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated tests
- Implement quality gates and secure delivery practices
- Integrate and standardize API exposure via gateway patterns
- Apply usage policies, throttling, authentication, and authorization
- Version APIs using Azure API Management where applicable
- Establish observability standards with Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Create dashboards, alerts, distributed tracing, and runbooks
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across microservices and clusters
- Perform root-cause analysis and preventative improvements
