Backend Engineer - Search Engine(m/w/x)

Description

You will shape a personalized shop experience by building high-traffic APIs and optimizing search algorithms, ensuring every user finds exactly what they need through cutting-edge NLP and data integration.

Requirements

• •3+ years experience in Backend
• •2+ years experience building scalable APIs
• •Recent experience with typed programming languages
• •Knowledge of SQL or No-SQL databases
• •Ability to write maintainable, efficient code
• •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Experience in English-speaking agile environments
• •Commitment to high software quality standards
• •Interest in translating search findings technically
• •Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
• •Experience building Data Models using dbt
• •Experience with MPP data warehouses
• •Experience with logging and monitoring solutions
• •Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems
• •Experience running data processing pipelines
• •Experience with Machine Learning or LLMs

Tasks

• •Develop a cutting-edge search engine using Node.js and TypeScript
• •Design and implement advanced search algorithms
