Backend Developer (PHP/Laravel)(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will enhance backend services and APIs for a B2B SaaS platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your work will focus on improving code quality and shaping features that directly impact real customers.

Requirements

• •3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or comparable role
• •Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, and relational databases
• •Experience building and maintaining digital products used by real customers
• •Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code and improve legacy code
• •Background in real estate, PropTech, ClimateTech, or related digital products
• •Experience with B2B SaaS platforms
• •Familiarity with multi-tenant application architectures
• •Exposure to modern PHP frameworks, domain-driven design, or service-oriented architectures
• •Customer-obsessed approach with strong stakeholder empathy
• •Ownership mentality with hands-on execution and 'get-things-done' mindset
• •Comfort with ambiguity in fast-evolving environments
• •Structured problem-solving and analytical thinking
• •High degree of self-initiative and curiosity across Tech, Product, and Design

Tasks

• •Build and evolve backend services and APIs for B2B SaaS workflows
• •Work on long-lived production systems with real customers
• •Refactor and improve existing codebases through testing and quality engineering
• •Participate in the technical delivery of SaaS business unit OKRs
• •Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to shape customer-facing features
• •Advocate for maintainability and scalability in engineering practices
• •Contribute to technical decision-making and architectural discussions
