Requirements

  • Studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or comparable subject
  • Initial experience in opto-mechanical systems
  • Advantageous knowledge in Python programming
  • High degree of initiative and independence
  • Good language skills in German and/or English

Tasks

  • Support conceptualization and component selection
  • Design the experimental set-up
  • Set up, align, and calibrate the sensor
  • Conduct test measurements
  • Investigate postprocessing and interpretation methods
  • Integrate systems into automated production environments
  • Research high-resolution adaptive wavefront sensing
  • Perform theoretical and simulation-based design
  • Test sensors within a laboratory environment
