Tasks
- Contribute to avionic system architecture decisions
- Select LRU components for avionic systems
- Provide integration and production feasibility input
- Shape component choices and system topology
- Integrate avionic LRUs onto the airframe
- Mount and route harnesses
- Mate connectors and manage configurations
- Collaborate with software engineers on integration
- Perform board bring-up and firmware flashing
- Verify hardware and software interfaces
- Isolate faults across hardware, software, and mechanical boundaries
- Use schematics, ICDs, logic analysers, and oscilloscopes
- Manage non-conformances and root cause analyses
- Drive corrective actions to verified closure
- Develop integration and acceptance test procedures
- Ensure full traceability to system and LRU-level requirements
- Support ground and flight test campaigns
- Troubleshoot issues in real time
- Own serialisation and productionisation of avionic LRUs
- Develop production test procedures
- Establish acceptance criteria and workmanship standards
- Ensure consistent, repeatable production at scale
- Contribute to safety analyses
- Participate in FMEA and hazard identification
