Requirements
- •MSc. or PhD. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent automotive system/software safety engineering experience
- •Profound practical experience in SOTIF engineering, including ISO21448, STPA, and residual risk quantification
- •Knowledge in automotive safety engineering including ISO26262 and safety methods
- •Familiarity with L2/NCAP regulations and applicable safety standards
- •Hands-on attitude and positive engagement to inspire teammates
- •Professional proficiency in English; German and/or Chinese knowledge advantageous
- •Willingness to travel abroad (up to 25% of the time)

Tasks
- •Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of AD/ADAS and Active Safety
- •Apply ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 safety analysis methods
- •Develop system safety concepts and review system architecture
- •Identify, define, and specify safety measures and requirements
- •Collaborate with system engineering and development teams
- •Design and review AD/ADAS system safety architectures
- •Consider fail-operational, fail-degraded, and fail-safe aspects
- •Define and review system and software level safety requirements
- •Ensure performance, functional safety, and SOTIF properties
- •Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and trends
- •Extract and share key insights impacting Huawei’s ADS solution
