Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in digital advertising research (media owner, brand, agency, or vendor)
  • Track record partnering with advertisers to drive revenue
  • Fluency in German and English
  • In-depth knowledge of campaign measurement (brand lift, foot traffic, sales lift, conversion lift, MMM, performance measurement)
  • Experience in data analysis and storytelling
  • Experience with 1st party datasets, dashboards, 3rd party data
  • Practical SQL use for analysis (helpful, not required)
  • Experience managing and influencing leadership stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills and client meeting leadership
  • Positive, approachable teammate, valuing transparency and relationships
  • Proactive, accountable, thriving in ambiguity, independent project driver

Tasks

  • Shape and execute market-specific Marketing Science strategies.
  • Align strategies with local clients and vertical priorities.
  • Drive top advertiser partnerships.
  • Impact revenue using measurement and insights.
  • Provide bespoke testing and strategy consultation.
  • Create and deliver scalable support plans.
  • Align plans with vertical and market initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management.
  • Create scalable client solutions.
  • Support external client and agency engagements.
  • Present individual results and scaled projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on market initiatives.
  • Develop narratives and events for market initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and 3rd party partnerships.
  • Inform Spotify's measurement solutions perspective.
  • Educate stakeholders on capabilities and performance.
  • Represent the advertiser's voice in feedback loops.
  • Build and maintain advertising effectiveness analyses.
  • Create benchmarks and best practices across key metrics and verticals.
  • Maintain a strong point of view on data source validity.
  • Ensure consistent and methodologically sound results and insights.
