Associate Director - Cost Management - Data Centre Construction(m/w/x)

Description

You will lead a cost management team on high-profile data center projects, overseeing everything from initial estimates and procurement to monthly reporting and client interfacing.

Requirements

• •Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• •Minimum of 7 years' experience in cost management
• •Broad experience in all cost management areas
• •Experience preparing Cost Management estimates and reports
• •Experience advising clients on value management and engineering
• •Understanding of project costs and cashflow
• •Experience with key aspects of business development
• •Organization, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills
• •Ability to develop good working relationships
• •English skills and preferred fluent German skills
• •Excellent presentation and communication skills
• •Knowledge of MS Office and digital cost tools

Tasks

• •Lead a dedicated cost management team
• •Interface with clients and stakeholders throughout all project stages
• •Provide detailed estimates and cost planning
• •Produce and present final project estimates
• •Manage the full procurement and pre-qualification process
• •Develop tender lists and perform tender analysis
• •Compile contractual documents and tender reports
• •Manage post-contract cost variances and change control
• •Execute cost checks and payment recommendations
• •Complete accurate valuations and cost checking processes
• •Produce and present monthly cost reports to clients
