Leading computational biology team for drug discovery in Cardio-Renal-Metabolic diseases. Ph.D. and long-term drug discovery leadership experience required. Hybrid setup with minimum 2-3 days on site.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Long-term computational sciences experience in drug discovery
  • Strong leadership experience in line management
  • Ability to plan, allocate, and manage resources efficiently
  • Proven track record of scientific and pharmaceutical accomplishments
  • Accomplishments preferably in CRM indications
  • Demonstrated expertise in computationally driven target identification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to convey complex computational concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills for fostering collaboration
  • Experience mentoring junior scientists
  • Fostering a culture of innovation

Tasks

  • Lead and manage a team of computational biologists
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and scientific excellence
  • Act as primary contact to the global Liver Health team
  • Ensure alignment across the CRM therapeutic area portfolio
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge computational biology methods
  • Focus on target and biomarker discovery in CRM diseases
  • Establish and maintain data analysis standards
  • Ensure quality, integrity, and reproducibility of computational results
  • Translate computational concepts into actionable insights
  • Facilitate data-driven decision-making for stakeholders
