Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Biostatistics or related field
  • 10+ years relevant experience in life-science industry
  • At least 2 years experience in managing staff
  • Familiarity with complex statistical methods for Phase I-IV clinical trials
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH guidelines
  • Familiarity with moderately complex statistical methods for clinical trials
  • Strong working knowledge of SAS
  • Working knowledge of relevant Data Standards (CDISC/ADaM)

Education

Bachelor's degree

Master's degree

  • Manage a team of Biostatistics staff
  • Provide direction and guidance on project assignments
  • Interface with clients and internal departments
  • Apply advanced statistical methods to project work
  • Ensure scientific integrity in statistical methodology for clinical trials
  • Assist the Director in strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Oversee studies and provide guidance on documentation
  • Review output development and assist in proposal development
  • Support project allocation and budget projections
  • Participate in client presentations as needed
