- Maintain a cutting-edge, externally funded research program
- Teach fundamental and advanced biotechnology courses at BSc, MSc, and PhD levels
- Strengthen the BSc program 'Chemistry and Biotechnology'
- Play a pivotal role in the MSc programs 'Quantitative Life Science' and 'Advanced Materials'
- Develop and implement innovative teaching approaches for online, hybrid, and in-person learning
- Advise students on their studies
- Supervise Bachelor, Master, and PhD theses and research projects
