Requirements
- Leadership and execution of visual concepts
- Understanding of POS systems (wobblers, shelf strips, rollouts, displays)
- Attention to materials, finishes, production details
- Experience working with creative, marketing, sales teams
- 5+ years design or art direction experience (ideally FMCG, retail-driven brands, or agencies with strong trade exposure)

- Comfort working with sales and commercial teams
- Based in Munich or ability to relocate
Tasks
- Lead visual development for retail and trade marketing.
- Translate briefs into retail concepts for print and in-store.
- Design POS materials, displays, shelf communication, and OOH.
- Oversee packaging adaptations and retail extensions.
- Ensure brand consistency in physical and retail environments.
- Manage print production workflows, pre-press, and material selection.
- Direct, support, and mentor designers.
- Collaborate with copywriters.
- Align and transfer knowledge with other Art Directors.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Maintain high creative standards.
- Contribute to campaign brainstorming and concept development.
- Monitor retail and packaging design trends.
- Bring fresh design perspectives.
