Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering (Master of Science, Dipl. Ing, Ph.D.)
  • •Substantial experience in mechanical engineering applications or measuring technology
  • •Excellent analytical skills for complex relationship modeling
  • •Motivation to work in an international multicultural environment
  • •Experience in statistical data evaluation and FFT frequency analysis
  • •Good command of spoken and written German and English

Tasks

  • •Create application solutions for strategic fields
  • •Develop solutions for selected customer projects worldwide
  • •Utilize ZEISS CALYPSO and ZEISS INSPECT software packages
  • •Solve challenging metrology tasks from technical drawings
  • •Achieve high accuracy and repeatability in solutions
  • •Verify solutions using statistical methods like GR&R or VDA5
  • •Tailor solutions using integrated and external script languages
  • •Calculate workpiece geometry based on geometric definitions
  • •Collaborate with international teammates and customer segment managers
  • •Identify and create metrology solutions in various fields
  • •Consult the ZEISS engineering community on advanced metrology topics
  • •Share expertise in workshops
