Requirements

  • Fundierte Erfahrung in Datenmodellierung im Datenplattform-Umfeld und Überführung von Rohdaten in analytisch nutzbare Strukturen
  • dbt-Erfahrung (dbt Core und/oder dbt Cloud) auf mehr als einem Projekt oder mindestens ein halbes Jahr praktische dbt-Erfahrung
  • Beherrschung von Dimensional Data Modelling (Kimball Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) und Erfahrung mit Datenintegration und -transformation (ELT/ETL)
  • Solide SQL-Kenntnisse und idealerweise Programmierkenntnisse in Python
  • Kenntnisse in Data Lakehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift) und idealerweise Erfahrung mit Delta Lake oder Apache Iceberg
  • Erfahrung mit Data Quality Tools (z.B. Great Expectations), Data Catalogues und Data Lineage (von Vorteil)
  • Erfahrung mit Data Vault 2.0 (ein Plus)
  • Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte verständlich zu erklären (Deutsch mind. B1 und Englisch)
  • Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Reisen zum Kunden
  • Teamfähigkeit, Empathie und Kommunikationsstärke
  • Solid experience in data modelling within a Data Warehouse environment and transforming raw data into analytics-ready structures
  • dbt experience (dbt Core and/or dbt Cloud) in more than one project or at least six months of hands-on dbt experience
  • Proficiency in Dimensional Data Modelling (Kimball Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) and experience with data integration and transformation (ELT/ETL)
  • Strong SQL skills and ideally programming experience in Python
  • Familiarity with Data Lakehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift) and ideally experience with Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg
  • Experience with Data Quality tools (e.g., Great Expectations), Data Catalogues, and Data Lineage (a plus)
  • Experience with Data Vault 2.0 (a bonus)
  • Ability to explain complex topics clearly (German at least B1 level and English)
  • Willingness to travel to customers from time to time
  • Thriving in a team environment, empathy, communication skills, and a proactive mindset
