As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining data transformation layers that drive decision-making. Your work will involve creating reusable data models, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with teams to support analytics needs.

Requirements

• •2+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or data transformation
• •Hands-on experience with dbt, SQL, and modern data warehouses
• •Familiarity with data integration tools and cloud-based ETL/ELT frameworks
• •Strong understanding of data contracts, governance principles, and semantic layer design
• •Proven ability to build efficient, scalable, and maintainable data transformation pipelines
• •Comfortable collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
• •Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
• •Passion for creating clean, reliable, and reusable data assets
• •Python skills would be beneficial

Tasks

• •Build shareable and reusable dbt models and data assets
• •Implement data transformations aligned with business objectives
• •Maintain and optimize the semantic layer for self-service analytics
• •Ensure data quality and consistency through validation checks
• •Manage domain-specific data marts for accuracy and accessibility
• •Define and uphold data contracts for owned data assets
• •Proactively monitor pipelines to resolve data quality issues
• •Collaborate with Program Managers, analysts, and engineers
• •Support integration of external data sources into the analytics ecosystem
• •Apply and enforce data governance standards for secure data usage
• •Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives within the Analytics Engineering Guild
• •Continuously optimize dbt models and performance of data assets
