AIT Operations Engineer - Launch Vehicle(m/w/x)

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Continuous improvement drive and communication skills
  • Independent and collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Driving technical decisions or risk resolution
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Clean, organized, and structured work approach
  • Basic Python, C++, or similar knowledge
  • Basic CAD software knowledge
  • Fluent English
  • Previous experience in assembly/test of complex systems
  • Basic understanding of aerospace systems

Tasks

  • Ensure smooth, efficient integration activities
  • Participate in change management processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve KPIs
  • Follow up on non-conformities
  • Create and maintain AIT workflows
  • Optimize launch vehicle AIT workflows
  • Manage operational interfaces with Testing, Logistics, Quality Assurance
  • Improve vehicle integration timeline
  • Develop tools for planning, monitoring, optimizing integration
  • Drive engineering change management processes
  • Assess criticality of non-conformances
  • Define scope of non-conformance impact
  • Develop corrective and preventive actions
  • Validate corrective and preventive actions
  • Represent AIT to Design Engineering, Launch Operations, Production
  • Ensure AIT requirements are integrated into decisions
  • Identify internal process improvements
  • Lead process improvements for efficiency
  • Reduce rework and strengthen data flow
  • Ensure safe execution of integration activities
  • Implement PPE, ESD, HSE rules
  • Develop concepts for AIT facilities
  • Realize AIT facility concepts across sites
