Aircraft Engine Mechanic(m/w/x)
Borescope inspections, engine assembly, and QEC component replacement for business aviation fleet. Mechanical apprenticeship and S or B1 maintenance license preferred. Access to latest specialized engine tools, 30 days vacation.
Requirements
- Mechanical apprenticeship in machining, automotive, or motorbike industry
- 10+ years' experience in Engine-MRO industry (advantageous)
- Possession of S or B1 maintenance license (preferential)
- High quality and safety standards orientation
- Strong motivation to gain new knowledge
- Supportive and collaborative attitude
- Fluency in English, German, and/or French (plus)
Tasks
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks
- Replace QEC and LRU components
- Conduct borescope inspections
- Assemble and disassemble engines
- Perform engine modifications
- Execute hot section inspections and overhauls
- Troubleshoot aircraft engines and APUs
- Maintain engines and APUs on and off wing
- Service Honeywell, Pratt and Whitney, and Rolls Royce engines
- Maintain CFM and GE series engines
- Service various Honeywell and HGT series APUs
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards
- Complete required aviation paperwork professionally and timely
- Maintain a clean workspace using 5S principles
- Ensure workplace efficiency and safety
- Store and maintain tools according to company guidelines
- Use equipment following established safety standards
