Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar
  • Proven experience in Data Science / Data Engineering
  • Advanced statistical analysis, exploratory data analysis (EDA), hypothesis-driven modeling
  • Strong proficiency in Python / R for data science (e.g. pandas, numpy, scikit‑learn)
  • AI-supported development
  • Expertise in feature engineering, data preparation, data quality assessment
  • Ability to select right approach (statistical vs. AI models)
  • Understanding of LLMs and other AI approaches (incl. limitations, bias, quality)
  • Business-relevant performance metrics understanding
  • Strong analytical storytelling skills to translate insights into business decisions
  • Experience with data processing and pipelines
  • Basic understanding of cloud & AI Ops concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills with analytical mindset
  • Team-orientation and openness to collaboration
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders
  • C1-level English, written and spoken
  • Minimum B2-level German, written and spoken
  • Experience in B2B or sales analytics is advantageous
  • Knowledge of renewable energy or technology sector is advantageous

Tasks

  • Prepare, clean, and transform data for model training
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability
  • Integrate data from CRM, ERP, and other business systems
  • Build and maintain data pipelines
  • Perform feature engineering
  • Optimize models
  • Support deployment and integration of models into systems
  • Monitor model performance
  • Implement performance improvements
  • Design and optimize prompts and LLM-based solutions
  • Assist in designing internal compliance frameworks
  • Ensure ethical standards and operational standards
  • Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into models and insights
  • Provide technical input to project teams
  • Help continuously improve development processes within the AI development team
