Requirements

  • Several years of experience with agile teams, ideally in complex environments
  • Strong practical understanding of agile and lean principles, including flow-based systems (e.g. Kanban) and concepts such as Flight Levels and value stream optimization
  • Experience with frameworks such as Scrum, XP, OKRs, and scaling approaches (e.g.SAFe or LeSS)
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-supported ways of working, with ability to guide teams in adopting AI responsibly and effectively
  • Proven strength in facilitation, coaching, team development, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to navigate diverse stakeholders, from teams to management
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong sense of ownership
  • Experience in identifying and resolving impediments, organizational tensions and risks early
  • Degree or comparable practical experience
  • Business fluent in German and English

Tasks

  • Support teams in becoming more effective, self-organized, and cross-functional
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in collaboration, flow, and delivery
  • Coach Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with leadership to evolve ways of working beyond team level
  • Help teams apply and adapt Agile frameworks pragmatically
  • Design and facilitate impactful workshops and meetings
  • Create clarity, alignment, and progress in complex situations
  • Identify and resolve impediments, organizational frictions, and conflicts
  • Support sustainable solutions instead of quick fixes
  • Establish conditions for successful delivery
  • Set clear goals and maintain healthy team dynamics
  • Ensure effective planning and strong cross-team collaboration
  • Promote sustainable development practices
  • Encourage pairing, mobbing, refactoring, and test strategies
  • Support CI/CD and other engineering practices
  • Improve quality and delivery capability without sacrificing maintainability
  • Contribute to cross-team and organizational challenges
  • Shape the organization's evolution with peers in the Agile Coaching Chapter
