Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Bookkeeping, financial reporting, German accounting standards experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent German and English communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Understanding of compliance and financial regulations
- Service-oriented, proactive, explains financial matters
Tasks
- Maintain accurate accounting records
- Check and collect invoices
- Classify invoices
- Manage invoice payments
- Ensure preparatory bookkeeping
- Perform bank reconciliation in Unternehmen Online
- Support financial report preparation
- Support financial update preparation
- Support financial plan preparation
- Articulate with stakeholders, including Steuerberater
- Provide insights for strategic decision-making
- Assist internal teams with budget preparation
- Provide regular updates on budgets
- Assist internal teams with financial forecast preparation
- Provide regular updates on financial forecasts
- Provide overviews of invoices
- Provide grant budget sheets
- Provide payroll checks
- Act as the main contact for payment and reimbursement topics
- Advise students, faculty, and staff on payments
- Advise CODE partners on payments
- Address payment and reimbursement issues proactively
- Ensure quick resolution of payment issues
- Assist with audits
- Stay updated on accounting regulations
- Stay updated on accounting best practices
