In this role, you will drive financial accuracy by managing end-to-end accounting and tax compliance while helping the company modernize its processes through SAP S/4HANA optimization.

Requirements

  • University degree in relevant field
  • Certified accountant with relevant work experience
  • Three years of professional accounting experience
  • Thorough knowledge of HGB and IFRS
  • Experience in cash and assets accounting
  • Understanding of tax and VAT matters
  • Effective use of accounting automation systems
  • Independent working style and analytical thinking
  • Outstanding communication and team skills
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Assertiveness and confidence in international teams
  • Fluent German and English
  • Knowledge of Italian is appreciated
  • Fluency in standard office automation tools
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (advantageous)

Tasks

  • Post all business transactions independently
  • Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
  • Maintain financial master data
  • Execute electronic payment transactions
  • Prepare financial statements under commercial, tax, and IFRS laws
  • Ensure compliance with all legal accounting requirements
  • Prepare timely sales tax returns
  • Draft statements on sales tax issues
  • Optimize accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA
  • Monitor petty cash and monthly travel expenses
  • Handle administrative tasks like archiving and storage
