Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional qualification in accountancy or financial reporting (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards
  • Experience preparing financial statements and supporting consolidation
  • Knowledge of statutory reporting and tax legal requirements
  • Exposure to audits and supporting audit processes
  • Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. Xero) and strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and quality
  • Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Structured, reliable, and collaborative team player
  • Ability to operate in an international environment
  • Experience in multi-entity or international environment
  • Prior exposure to process improvement or finance transformation

Tasks

  • Maintain and improve accounting and financial reporting framework
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and group consolidations
  • Ensure financial data consistency, completeness, and accuracy
  • Implement and enhance internal controls
  • Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of Finance outputs
  • Monitor financial risks and policy adherence
  • Support statutory reporting and compliance processes
  • Coordinate tax-related activities with stakeholders and advisors
  • Track audit findings and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with laws, IFRS/GAAP, and local tax regulations
  • Plan and coordinate external audits
  • Prepare audit documentation and liaise with auditors
  • Resolve audit queries and follow-up actions
  • Manage relationships with external service providers
  • Assist in internal communication on finance-related topics
