Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or economics (ideally finance/controlling focus), or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in auditing, tax consulting, or commercial background training (advantageous)
  • At least 2 years practical experience in preparing annual financial statements
  • Practical knowledge of accounting
  • Proficient MS Office use (especially Excel), SAP (FI, CO) knowledge, and IT affinity
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Strong analytical skills, team spirit, and assertiveness
  • High results orientation, initiative, and reliability

Tasks

  • Prepare annual financial statements (German Commercial Code)
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements (German Commercial Code)
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Act as point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and tax auditors
  • Coordinate accounting for the US subsidiary
  • Perform financial controlling for V-LINE GROUP
  • Prepare monthly financial reports with target/actual comparisons
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for liquidity
  • Process commission settlements
  • Calculate compensation payments (transfer prices)
  • Prepare financial reports, including finance KPIs
  • Implement further standardization in finance
  • Develop and expand finance controlling and reporting for foreign subsidiaries
  • Conduct business analyses
  • Manage special projects
  • Optimize and digitalize finance department processes
