Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Extensive professional experience in strategic sales or business development
- Relevant experience in battery energy storage systems or related technical fields
- Deep understanding of global BESS markets and competitive dynamics
- Solid understanding of BESS system architecture, grid integration, and application use cases
- Experience in strategic sales, negotiations, and complex projects
- Willingness to travel across Europe
- Very strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- English and German language proficiency
- Fluency in additional European languages
Tasks
- Lead strategic business development for BESS portfolio internationally
- Develop and implement customer and business growth strategies
- Strengthen and expand customer relationships
- Strategically upsell and cross-sell with internal stakeholders
- Conduct continuous market and competitive analysis
- Derive strategic measures from market insights
- Manage offer, pricing, and contract strategies
- Coordinate complex commercial negotiations
- Plan and execute trade shows and customer events
- Prepare and present sales forecasts
- Contribute to long-range planning
- Lead cross-functional project teams
