Requirements
- •Degree in mechanical/automotive engineering or similar
- •> 5 years of experience in automotive industry at OEM or Tier 1
- •Excellent knowledge of Brake system design and related OEM R&D processes
- •Solid experience in using CATIA V5 and data systems like PLM, BOM
- •Experience with high performance and advanced brakes technology
- •High pro-activeness and willingness to work in a multi-disciplinary project group
- •Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
- •Very good command of English and intercultural communication skills
- •Proficient in Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel

- •Take full engineering responsibility for brake systems in EU projects and performance cars from concept to SOP
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compatibility and define targets such as cost, weight, and performance
- •Prepare concept designs and develop systems and parts to meet agreed targets
- •Prepare and release engineering orders for related components
- •Align with manufacturing sites, quality, and procurement teams to meet vehicle production and quality targets
- •Research and develop new technologies through conferences and supplier engagement
- •Propose optimizations for existing components and development standards
- •Plan projects, including budget, resources, and timeframe, while documenting and presenting status and results
- •Work closely with HMETC departments, EU plants, suppliers, and the R&D center in Namyang, South Korea
