Requirements
- •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science/Food Technology, or comparable education
- •More than 5 years of experience in Tobacco Industry/Tobacco flavour creation
- •Flavour creation experience in Tobacco Segment
- •Excellent understanding of Tobacco market
- •Expert level knowledge in flavour formulation and processing
- •Expert-level tasting skills
- •Knowledge of sensory analysis tools
- •Fluent in English and good level in German
- •Teamwork skills
- •Appreciation for working in an international environment
- •Excellent communication skills
- •Expert level ability to interact with customers
- •Ability to prepare and present technical presentations
- •Good project management skills
- •Continuous development

Tasks
- •Develop new flavours for customer and proactive projects
- •Ensure adherence to briefing guidelines, costs, legislation, and deadlines
- •Match competitor flavours
- •Optimize and adjust existing flavours for various applications
- •Evaluate and utilize analytical results, including chromatography and sensory analyses
- •Assess and introduce new raw materials
- •Collaborate closely with Application, Sensory, Marketing, Sales, and other departments on projects
- •Support Key Account Managers during customer visits domestically and internationally
- •Assist production in implementing flavours from laboratory to production scale
- •Manage data effectively
- •Resolve laboratory and production issues during development or manufacturing
- •Manage the flavour portfolio
- •Address flavour performance issues in applications
