Workshop Technician - Finishing & Integration(m/w/x)
Assembling and finishing VIP aircraft interior furniture, including cabinets and galleys. Ability to read 3D models and aviation materials experience required. Working with latest technologies, team events.
Requirements
- Cabinet maker apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification
- Ability to read 3D model files, 2D drawings, and assembly documentation
- Experience with VIP materials in aviation or high-end manufacturing
- Progression through Systems Integration Technician Level 1
- Proficient use of aerospace interiors tools and equipment
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency
- Smarteam, Catia V5 viewer, Fanuc language knowledge
- Self-motivation and strong personal drive
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
Tasks
- Assemble and re-install VIP aircraft interior furniture
- Finish cabinets, credenzas, vanities, galleys, lavatories, bulkheads, doors, décor, tables, seats, divans, showers
- Perform modifications and repairs on monuments and components
- Machine grooves and install plated inlays on veneer surfaces
- Cut and apply surface coverings like hard laminate, Tedlar, veneers
- Cut and bond mouldings to cabinetry
- Perform major repairs and modifications accurately
- Assist colleagues and share expertise
- Support senior technicians in process improvement
- Ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of work
- Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing
- Perform supervised installations or modifications on aircraft
- Research and follow approved documentation using JPMS IT platform
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
