Workshop Technician - Cabin Installation(m/w/x)
Installing and fitting cabin interiors for aircraft using engineering drawings and 3D models. Cabinet maker apprenticeship or equivalent technical background required. Permanent 4-day work week, 12 PM - 11 PM shift.
Requirements
- Cabinet maker apprenticeship or equivalent technical background
- Experience in aviation, ideally in cabin outfitting or interior installation
- Ability to read technical drawings and work with 3D models
- Skilled in using tools and working with aeronautical materials
- Familiarity with Part 145 requirements and aircraft working standards
- Quality-focused, detail-oriented, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility, reliability, hands-on approach, and safety commitment
Tasks
- Install cabin interiors on-site
- Fit cabin components inside aircraft
- Adjust and repair cabin elements
- Use engineering drawings for installations
- Follow 3D models for precision
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Adhere to Part 145 regulations
- Maintain airworthiness standards
- Install cabinets and valences
- Fit ceiling panels and seats
- Mount décor panels and floorboards
- Install window shades and soundproofing
- Handle air conditioning components
- Support continuous improvement efforts
- Reduce rework in installations
- Enhance build quality and efficiency
