Requirements
- Studies in physics, mathematics, computer science or related field
- Experience in python programming and basic experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Foundational understanding of quantum computing and experience with Qiskit or PennyLane
- Experience with machine learning algorithms or combinatorial optimization
- Fluent English skills
Tasks
- Develop reinforcement learning methods for variational quantum eigensolvers
- Apply machine learning to solve quantum chemistry problems
- Design and prototype new quantum circuit cutting methods
- Integrate circuit cutting tools into the software stack
- Solve optimization problems resulting from circuit design
- Implement reinforcement learning for quantum error correction codes
- Benchmark resource-efficient approaches to error correction
