Developing structural analysis workflows for aircraft retrofit solutions in commercial, defense, and space sectors using Digital Engineering and MBSE. Solid understanding of aerospace structural analysis and Systems Engineering principles required. Multidisciplinary team environment, evaluating MBSE practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
  • Solid understanding of structural analysis principles in aerospace
  • Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Finite Element Analysis of aerospace structures
  • Knowledge of Boeing internal processes and tools for structural analysis (Abaqus, Nastran, 3DX-Simulia apps, CAD Design)
  • Experience in developing python/java scripts and Excel Macros
  • Experience with PLM systems like 3DX
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and Systems thinking
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering, SysML, Cameo/MagicDraw
  • Knowledge of Safety and Development Assurance processes (ARP4754, ARP4761)
  • Critical thinking, creativity and engineering judgement
  • Core Knowledge: Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering, Structural Design, Systems Engineering
  • Knowledge of Boeing internal processes and tools

  • Assist in building structural analysis workflows
  • Refine workflows using Digital Engineering and MBSE
  • Link requirements to architectures and analyses
  • Focus on safety in engineering processes
  • Evaluate MBSE practices and document feedback
  • Explore innovative techniques in structural analysis
  • Enhance data management and traceability
  • Develop MBSE architectures for airplane and production systems
  • Capture requirements tracing to architecture and design decisions
  • Investigate novel MBSE techniques for harmonization across disciplines
