Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or related field
  • Initial practical experience with AI/ML projects
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn
  • Knowledge of data processing and basic ML workflows
  • Experience with experiment tracking and versioning
  • Experience with AI Models like Claude, GPT, Docker
  • Ability to analyze complex problems creatively and communicate results
  • Good English skills
  • German knowledge is a plus
  • Valid residence permit/work permit if necessary

Tasks

  • Support planning, implementation, and evaluation of AI-based proof-of-concepts
  • Contribute to prototype development with automation and data-driven analysis
  • Assist in end-to-end prototype implementation, including data preparation, model training, evaluation, and deployment scripting
  • Collaborate with system and software engineers, and product teams to derive practical, scalable solutions
  • Document architectures, results, and key learnings from PoC activities
  • Participate in regular reviews, presentations, and demonstrations of proof-of-concepts
  • Evaluate new AI technologies, tools, and frameworks for potential applicability

Education

  • Currently in higher educationOR
  • Bachelor's degree
