- Comfortable working with Linux-based embedded devices
- Understanding of core system components
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems
- Familiarity with automated testing pipelines
- Familiarity with RTOS-based systems
- Familiarity with RTOS debugging/testing challenges
- Prior work with hardware-in-the-loop environments
- Prior work with simulation-based testing environments
- Background in release engineering
- Background in managing QA processes
Tasks
- Own testing across the full platform stack
- Develop and maintain a manual test suite
- Create test procedures to validate features
- Create test procedures to validate performance
- Create test procedures to validate stability
- Ensure test coverage for pull requests
- Ensure test coverage for release candidates
- Ensure test coverage for post-deployment testing
- Investigate bugs across software and hardware
- Lead first-level diagnostics for bugs
- Document bug findings for triage
- Collaborate with engineers on bug fixes
Education
- Currently in higher educationOR
- Bachelor's degreeOR
- Master's degree
