- Comfortable working with Linux-based embedded devices
- Understanding of core system components
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems
- Familiarity with automated testing pipelines
- Familiarity with RTOS-based systems
- Familiarity with debugging/testing challenges
- Prior work with hardware-in-the-loop testing
- Prior work with simulation-based testing
- Background in release engineering
- Background in managing QA processes
Tasks
- Design manual test procedures
- Coordinate and execute tests
- Ensure new features meet quality standards
- Own testing across platform stack
- Develop and maintain manual test suite
- Create test procedures for feature validation
- Ensure test coverage for various release conditions
- Investigate bugs across software and hardware
- Lead first-level diagnostics
- Document findings for deeper triage
- Collaborate with engineers for bug resolution
Education
- Currently in higher educationOR
- Bachelor's degree
