Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
  • •3 to 6 years of experience in the development of desktop and embedded applications
  • •Experience with Python and C#
  • •Experience in the management of complete software life cycles
  • •Experience with laboratory equipment such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, National Instruments, PCBA debugging, use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools
  • •Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • •Strong communication and documentation skills
  • •Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
  • •Fluent in English, German a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree
OR
Master's degree

Work Experience

3 - 6 years

Tasks

  • •Develop software for testing and manufacturing medical devices
  • •Design and create PC-based desktop applications for product verification and validation
  • •Document and maintain embedded and PC-based software
  • •Release and support software for custom-made testers
  • •Measure performance of motors, actuators, and sensors
  • •Collaborate with the R&D team on measurement parameters and methods
  • •Establish acceptance criteria for product testing
  • •Support verification and validation activities for new product introductions
  • •Maintain traceability and documentation per medical device quality systems
