Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Preferred Master’s degree
- Minimum five years product management experience in IoT, building automation, industrial integration, or cloud connectivity
- Proven track record managing products with protocol translation, device connectivity, gateway software, API platforms
- Strong knowledge of building automation protocols (Niagara, BACnet, Modbus)
- Familiarity with building management system (BMS) ecosystems
- Excellent communication skills
- Stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to thrive in global, cross-functional teams
- Fluent English skills
- Experience with third-party hardware integration
- Experience with partner ecosystems
- Experience with smart building technologies (HVAC, energy management)
- Knowledge of API design
- Knowledge of SDKs
- Knowledge of developer platforms
- Knowledge of monetization models
- Knowledge of IoT/cybersecurity principles
Tasks
- Own and refine the vision for connectivity products.
- Own and refine the strategy for connectivity products.
- Own and refine the roadmap for connectivity products.
- Lead strategy for Niagara Connector, Connect Agent, protocol connectors, and APIs.
- Lead roadmap for Niagara Connector, Connect Agent, protocol connectors, and APIs.
- Manage lifecycle for Niagara Connector, Connect Agent, protocol connectors, and APIs.
- Ensure secure, scalable interoperability for Building X and connected systems.
- Define and drive monetization strategy for connectivity capabilities.
- Develop scalable pricing and packaging models.
- Identify new revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and partner management.
- Translate openness and connectivity into measurable business value.
- Oversee delivery, reliability, and evolution of the Openness Portfolio.
- Monitor KPIs for adoption, performance, and partner engagement.
- Translate complex customer and partner integration requirements.
- Develop scalable, secure, and standards-compliant connectivity solutions.
- Ensure alignment with market and technological trends.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Drive adoption, compliance, and go-to-market success.
