Technical Planner Field Service(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will coordinate staffing for service technicians and provide essential technical support, ensuring engineers are well-equipped to tackle their tasks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve optimizing resource utilization, organizing training, and assisting customers with technical inquiries.

Requirements

• •Technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering
• •Strong understanding of coordinating a traveling workforce
• •Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
• •Structured and organized working style
• •Robust planning and organizational abilities
• •Familiarity with CMMS/Field Service Management solutions
• •Fluency in business English and knowledge of additional European language

Tasks

• •Coordinate staffing interventions with qualified service technicians
• •Provide technical consultation to service engineers
• •Collaborate with Engineering and the Factory for optimal resource utilization
• •Assign qualified service technicians from the service team or third-party partners
• •Ensure all assigned technicians have the necessary skills for each job
• •Support briefings and provide technical documentation to engineers
• •Act as a technical consultant for service colleagues
• •Take on detailed planning responsibilities as needed
• •Identify potential over- or underutilization of engineers
• •Collaborate with Centers of Competence to minimize resource gaps
• •Organize internal and external training sessions for engineers
• •Arrange visas, documentation, and travel bookings for engineers
• •Support customers via the helpline by resolving breakdowns and machine errors
• •Answer technical questions related to machines
