As a Technical Lead in Platform Engineering, you will shape the future of operational data storage by enhancing the reliability and scalability of the Database Platform. This role involves collaborating with product teams, mentoring colleagues, and leading incident management to ensure a robust infrastructure.

Requirements

• •Extensive hands-on architectural experience in cloud-based infrastructure
• •Proven expertise in operational data storage solutions
• •In-depth knowledge of database internals and performance tuning
• •Hands-on experience with container technologies and orchestration
• •Strong experience in infrastructure as code
• •Proficiency in at least one programming language
• •Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• •Familiarity with networking and security best practices
• •Familiarity with observability tools
• •Experience in scaled operational storage solution production systems
• •Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Tasks

• •Define and design platform solutions for the Database Platform infrastructure
• •Guide the implementation of solutions to enhance reliability, security, and scalability
• •Provide technical leadership in cloud infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and security
• •Collaborate with Product Teams for seamless database provisioning and operational efficiency
• •Mentor and coach team members to promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence
• •Own the end-to-end architecture of the Database Platform
• •Drive alignment with the Platform Engineering strategy and domain goals
• •Lead complex incident management and conduct blameless post-mortems
• •Implement preventative architectural improvements
• •Define and own the observability strategy for metrics, logging, and tracing
