Technical Engineer for Cryogenic Test Facilities(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in cryogenics systems
- Experience in design, construction follow-up, commissioning of complex mechanical installations
- Experience preparing technical documentation, operating procedures, test records
- Knowledge and application of cryogenic fluid and material properties
- Knowledge and application of cryogenic heat transfer and insulation techniques
- Operation and maintenance of cryogenic systems
- Knowledge of low temperature instrumentation and measurement techniques
- Knowledge of thermodynamics
- Flexibility and willingness to accept changing circumstances
- Learning and sharing knowledge, keeping up-to-date with developments
- Teamwork skills, participating fully in team activities
- Structured and organized approach to work, results-oriented planning
- Autonomy and initiative in taking on tasks
- Spoken and written English or French, commitment to learn the other language
- Valid driving licence
Tasks
- Develop operational principles for cryogenic test stands
- Translate principles into thermodynamic and mechanical designs
- Coordinate production of test stands within timeline and budget
- Plan and organize Cryolab activities based on priorities
- Support Cryolab users in daily operations and procedures
- Monitor and discuss performance of active test stations
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and records
- Contribute to cryogenic safety courses with safety department
- Serve as safety contact for Cryolab buildings and activities
