Requirements
- Completed technical education (e.g. Polymechanic, Automation Technician, Mechanical Technician, Design Engineer or similar)
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, Bill of Material and manufacturing processes
- Experience working with suppliers on technical and quality-related topics
- Structured, solution-oriented, and communicative working style
- Good German skills and very good English skills
- SAP knowledge
- Proactive, structured, and solution-focused working style
- Team oriented mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration
Tasks
- Act as key interface between Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and global suppliers
- Ensure technical clarity and qualification of materials, components, and services
- Translate engineering requirements into robust sourcing solutions
- Support supplier qualification and technical alignment
- Perform technical clarifications of materials, drawings, and specifications
- Collaborate on engineering changes with Engineering and suppliers
- Support and coordinate PPAP activities and first samples
- Conduct technical evaluations of alternative materials, deviation requests, and obsolescence cases
- Collaborate with Strategic and Operational Buyers on supplier and material topics
- Handle supplier complaints, NCRs, and root cause analyses
- Participate in supplier assessments and technical evaluations
- Contribute to supplier performance evaluations with Quality and Strategic Procurement
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of material and supplier master data in SAP
- Serve as technical contact point during supplier escalations
- Support Service Organization and Project Teams in complex procurement topics
