Requirements

  • •Proven experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, and similar architect role
  • •Very good understanding of technology stack and design
  • •Ability to translate architecture and design impact on non-functional requirements
  • •Experience and knowledge of different types of databases
  • •Ability to discuss architecture principles
  • •Ability to translate business requirements into technical frameworks
  • •Wide range of expertise in modern operations approaches, API strategies, application monitoring, agile methodologies, software testing, Continuous Delivery
  • •Very good fluency in English (written and verbal)

Tasks

  • •Act as a liaison between engineers and the architecture community
  • •Promote and implement METRO.digital standards, processes, and tools
  • •Advise squad leads and platform owners on technical vision and strategy
  • •Establish foundations for development teams to leverage Google Cloud and Cloud Native technologies
  • •Continuously seek inspiration to enhance architecture within your area
  • •Ensure secure, efficient, and autonomous use of Google Cloud Platform for product teams
  • •Collaborate with teams like CISO, procurement, and legal to drive security initiatives
  • •Integrate third-party providers into METRO’s cloud security governance model
  • •Work with Google’s engineering teams to shape governance products
