- Proven track record of hiring and mentoring technical talent
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams
- Solid technical background in cloud-native architectures
- Ideally AWS experience

- Design and develop cross-vendor software frameworks
- Test maintainable solutions for laboratory automation systems
- Partner with product managers and scientists to understand user needs
- Translate user needs into actionable technical specifications
- Assess and track vendor solutions in the lab automation market
- Promote standardization across Roche
- Develop strategy for lab automation capability
- Define the vision for scalable lab automation control
- Foster team members' growth and development
