- Solid experience from industrial environment

- Strong capability to structure complex topics
- Strong capability to set priorities
- Translate strategy into executable development roadmaps
- Experience working with academic institutions
- Experience working with research partners

- Clear and confident communication style

- Pragmatic, solution oriented mindset
- Fluency in German

Tasks
- Lead and develop a team of skilled development engineers
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth
- Provide technical guidance and decision support
- Develop advanced electrical machines, focusing on high-speed motors
- Take responsibility for continuous product development
- Implement modularization strategies and industrialization concepts
- Ensure supply chain readiness and design tool integration
- Define and maintain the R&D roadmap for electrical machines
- Align technical priorities with market needs and business strategy
- Drive cross-site and cross-product development projects
- Ensure effective interfaces with product management and manufacturing
- Plan, budget, and control development projects and initiatives
- Establish and maintain academic partnerships
- Represent the company at relevant conferences
