Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education, preferably Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in industrial development environments
  • Proven experience leading teams or technical groups
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop experts
  • Balancing responsibility and alignment in a team
  • In-depth understanding of electrical machine development processes
  • In-depth understanding of electrical machine industrialization processes
  • In-depth understanding of electrical machine standardization processes
  • Solid experience from an industrial environment
  • Exposure to manufacturing considerations
  • Exposure to supply chain considerations
  • Exposure to product lifecycle thinking
  • Strong capability to structure complex topics
  • Strong capability to set priorities
  • Translate strategy into executable development roadmaps
  • Experience working with academic institutions
  • Experience working with research partners
  • Experience working with suppliers
  • Experience working with industry networks
  • Clear and confident communication style

  • Fluency in German (written and spoken)

Tasks

  • Lead and develop a team of skilled development engineers
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth
  • Provide technical guidance and decision support
  • Take responsibility for continuous product development
  • Develop modularization strategies and industrialization concepts
  • Ensure supply chain readiness and design tool integration
  • Define and maintain the R&D roadmap
  • Align technical priorities with market needs and business strategy
  • Drive cross-site and cross-product development projects
  • Ensure effective interfaces with product management and manufacturing
  • Plan, budget, and control development projects
  • Lead the development roadmap for electrical machines
  • Establish and maintain academic partnerships
  • Represent the company at relevant conferences
