Sustainability Data Specialist(m/w/x)
Annual GHG accounting and Scope 1-3 data collection for a premium sportswear brand. Python coding and BigQuery experience required. Fastest-growing sports company environment, technical knowledge growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field
- Min. 1 year of experience in sustainability data with carbon accounting track record, expert in GHG Protocol
- Ability to code in Python for data processing and automation
- Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehouse architectures, including query writing and optimization
- Proficiency in data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets)
- Strong understanding of sustainability metrics, reporting standards (SBTi), and global regulations
- High attention to detail and ability to structure and validate complex data
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders
- Fluency in English
- Passion for sustainability
Tasks
- Contribute to annual GHG accounting
- Collect, validate, and calculate Scope 1-3 data
- Build end-to-end data flows for actionable metrics
- Execute data workstreams for sustainability disclosure
- Meet regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD)
- Collaborate with Tech and business stakeholders
- Streamline data workflows and systems
- Support Product Sustainability, Traceability, and Responsible Manufacturing teams
- Model and map sustainability data flows
- Identify opportunities to improve data processes
- Manage relationships with data owners
- Transform raw data into actionable insights
- Support data collection, visualization, and engineering tasks
