Stress Engineer - Airplane Doors(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Degree as engineer (Bachelor, Master or Diploma) in Aerospace or related discipline
- First experience within engineering
- Confidence with static strength analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance processes/methods, and certification regulations for metallic and composite products
- Experience in definition and stress justification of structural components and assemblies optimized for manufacturability, cost, and weight
- Skills with ISAMI, Hyperworks, Nastran, NASGRO, Python, CATIA V5, and Multibody Dynamic simulations
- Open-mindedness, curiosity, teamwork, and good communication skills
- Advanced level in German and English; French is a plus
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
Tasks
- Analyze metallic and composite designs for static and fatigue strength
- Focus on functional analysis and load determination of the door mechanism
- Support feasibility and trade studies with design and manufacturing teams
- Verify forecasted stress values against test results
- Develop technical solutions for new manufacturing technologies
- Explore and apply new materials and technologies
- Generate and implement new ideas into serial production
