Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, or economics
  • •Professional experience in a technical environment, preferably within the aviation sector
  • •Demonstrated sourcing and contracting experience
  • •Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management and teamwork
  • •Extended working knowledge of databases and data handling tools
  • •Language knowledge: German level B2 and English level C1

Tasks

  • •Develop and execute procurement strategies
  • •Continuously reduce total cost of ownership
  • •Improve quality and delivery performance of purchased services and products
  • •Analyze spend data and trends
  • •Identify and recommend strategic sourcing initiatives
  • •Justify sourcing initiatives with supporting reports and comparisons
  • •Recommend efficient methods for strategic sourcing agreements
  • •Negotiate strategic sourcing agreements
  • •Manage changes to supplier and vendor contracts
  • •Resolve contractual disputes with negotiation and mediation skills
  • •Analyze bid responses to optimize total cost
  • •Defend and justify bid awards during protests
  • •Collaborate with Procurement teams on sourcing agreements
  • •Develop internal policies to support sourcing initiatives
  • •Monitor supplier and vendor performance through reviews and surveys
