Strategic Account Manager for a Leading German Energy Network Operator(m/w/x)
Account strategy and contract negotiation for high-voltage energy transition projects at a German energy network operator. 8-10 years strategic account management in energy sector with deep understanding of German network operators required. Frequent client travel.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in strategic account management or business development within the energy sector
- Deep understanding of challenges and technologies of large German network operators
- Strong skills in relationship management, negotiation, and presentation
- Proven track record in identifying new business opportunities and closing complex deals
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- High willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and translate them into business opportunities
- Analytical mindset and strategic vision
Tasks
- Develop and implement a comprehensive account strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with SLAs
- Coordinate internal teams to deliver customized solutions
- Provide regular reporting on account status and revenue forecasts
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape
- Represent Hitachi at industry events and conferences
