Description

In this role, you will focus on automating and monitoring production infrastructure, enhancing security measures, and responding to incidents. Your day-to-day tasks will involve writing code, managing alerts, and continuously improving operational efficiency.

Requirements

• •Deep IaC expertise in provisioning and managing complex infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• •Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) or managing large-scale internal/private cloud infrastructure
• •Practical experience defining, measuring, and reporting on SLIs and SLOs for critical services
• •Proven experience with modern observability platforms for proactive issue identification
• •Strong understanding of core networking concepts sufficient to debug service connectivity and latency issues
• •Experience implementing security best practices via code, including automated vulnerability scanning and configuration hardening
• •Practical experience managing large-scale IAM systems
• •Experience running or contributing to post-incident reviews and prioritizing engineering work

Tasks

• •Create and use automation tools for monitoring production infrastructure
• •Maximize automation and reliability in operations
• •Monitor critical security infrastructure and core components
• •Maintain dashboards tied to Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
• •Triaging high-severity alerts
• •Analyze Error Budget burn rate for prioritization
• •Write, review, and test code for infrastructure automation
• •Automate deployment, configuration, and security hardening
• •Identify and implement automated solutions for repetitive tasks
• •Reduce operational workload through toil elimination
• •Maintain and enhance DevSecOps security tools in CI/CD pipelines
• •Ensure robust observability systems for infrastructure and security
• •Participate in on-call rotation for incident response
• •Engage in engineering solutions from post-mortems
• •Implement preventative measures derived from incident analysis
• •Improve runbooks into automated actions
