Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering
- 5+ years of experience in quick service restaurant or restaurant construction
- Advanced proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software
- Strong ability to interpret restaurant layouts and technical specifications
- Ability to understand and visualize interdependence across restaurant operations
- Preferred experience in technical project management, supplier management, continuous improvement, operations performance management
- Previous experience managing a small team preferred
- High attention to detail and strong execution mindset
- Experience delivering specialized training, onsite or virtual, highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Tasks
- Lead the International Layout Approval process
- Oversee day-to-day operations and long-term planning
- Manage budgeting and process evolution to meet business needs
- Supervise a team of 2–3 contractors reviewing restaurant layouts
- Collaborate with franchisees, vendors, and cross-functional partners
- Maintain and update Standard Layouts and Kitchen Design Guidelines
- Deliver training on Design Standards and Layout Approval process
- Manage complex or non-standard layouts with a focus on operations
- Support strategic initiatives for innovative kitchen formats and workflows
- Advocate for restaurant teams, guest experience, and franchisee success
